After their summer break, the Heavenly Chorus, (adult choir) of OLPH Parish will resume its weekly Thursday night rehearsals on September 4th at 7:00PM in church. Anyone of high school age and older is welcome to join us. No experience necessary. The choir sings at the 10:30AM Mass on Sunday, and also for special liturgies throughout the church year, including Christmas Eve, Holy Week & Easter, and Confirmation. If you have been inspired by the choir's music and wished you could be a part of that number, now is your chance to join this lively ministry. Repertoire is varied, and all voice ranges are needed. On Tuesday evening, September 9, 2025, Fr. Kyle Dave, pastor of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church, 8968 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, will celebrate a special Mass for Peace, Justice & Healing at 7:00 p.m., following the weekly Novena at 6:50 p.m. This will be an opportunity to come together in worship and peace, to reach out and bring comfort to those in our community who are in need of healing, and to thank those who continuously put themselves in harm’s way in order to protect us and our communities. The liturgy will close with Exposition of The Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. Friends of all faiths are welcome to attend. Hospitality will follow afterwards.
